OFFICERS INDUCTED

 

            The solemn induction ceremony which was witnessed by a big crowd of Buluseños was officiated by Rev. Fr. Ariel Lustan who has been the regular celebrant of the monthly mass of the association for several months now.

            Inducted were: Rogelio F. Fuentes-President; Luz Z. Gamba-1st Vice-President; Pablito R. Freo-2nd Vice-President; Andrew D. Espedido-Secretary; Linda Gapan-Mole-Asst. Secretary; Leticia G. Tenazas-Treasurer; Zoraida G. Lim-Asst. Treasurer; Arnel G. Fortes-Auditor; Rolando Bañares-Business Manager; Rufo O. Fuentes-Asst. Business Manager; Augusto G. Margelino-PRO for Area I; Roger Gapido-PRO for Area II; Bella Gapas-Indiongco-PRO for Area III; Emelinda Fulong-Banzuela-PRO for Area IV; Directors Romulo F. Bringino, Galicano F. Españo, Reynaldo G. Fortes, Aurora F. Frago, Joey V. Frades (who is also Chair of the Youth Affairs Committee); Ulpiano Sorra (who is also Chair of the Religious Affairs Committee), Leonor Furiscal-Peñalosa (Chair of the Sunshine Committee), and Marichu Fuentes Arellano (Chair of the Social and Cultural Affairs Committee).

            In a brief speech immediately after the induction, DBI President, Rogelio F. Fuentes thanked God for all the blessings He bestowed upon the association for the past twenty years.  He also praised Fr. Lustan for his untiring spiritual support for the last several months of their gathering.

            He also expressed his gratitude to the past officers and to all Buluseños for their active participations in all the projects and activities of the association in Metro-Manila and in Bulusan.

            To the newly inducted fellow officers he urged them to religiously perform their duties and responsibilities which they have sworn to uphold before the altar and witnessed by hundreds of fellow Buluseños.  He also told them that being an officer of the DBI must be taken seriously for the sake of their hometown and townmates.

            According to Mr. Fuentes, with the new set of officers, the association can expect to restore its old glory as it was during its early years.
