BULUSEÑA PLACES 7TH IN GEODETIC ENG'G BOARD EXAMS

Edelyn G. Fortes, the fifth child of Ruben Fortes of Barangays San Isidro and Looban, and the late Salvacion Guevarra of Barangay San Roque – ranked 7^th among the 76 out of 187 examinees who took and successfully passed the Board Examinations for Geodetic Engineers last January 16, 2003 in Manila.  It was indeed a close fight that with a general rating of 85.40, Edelyn was just 1.40 points behind the 1^st placer.

A consistent achiever since her elementary days at the Bulusan Central School where she graduated with the top honors in 1991, Edelyn has been bringing home honors not only for herself but also for her family, friends, school, and to her hometown.  She continued her winning streak at the Ramon Magsaysay High School – Cubao where she eventually graduated Valedictorian in 1995, and at the University of the Philippines in Diliman, Quezon City where she finished her undergraduate studies.  (BCS Classmate 1991)
