MARLON
RABULAN, a scholar of Damayan-Buluseño, Inc. – passed the board examinations
for Electrical Engineering and Master Electrician given by the Professional
Regulations Commission (PRC) on September 20-23, 2003 and released last October
2.
Sponsored
by retired Maj. Gen. Cesar F. Fortuno, Marlon was one of the four recipients of
the Scholarship-Through-Sponsorship Program of Damayan-Buluseño, Inc.
who graduated last March in different courses in college.
He is a graduate of the Technological University of the Philippines (TUP)
in Manila.
When
asked by DBI President of his plans now that he has two professional licenses,
he meekly said that will go home first to Bulusan for a thanksgiving mass and
after taking his oath, he will look for a job so he could support his younger
siblings in their studies in college, too.
Marlon
is the son of Mr. & Mrs. Santiago Rabulan of Barangay Madlawon, Bulusan. He is the second DBI scholar who passed the board
examinations for engineering. The
first was Jesus Perez of Barangay Dapdap, now a mechanical engineer connected
with the Philippine National Oil Corporation (PNOC).
Engr. Perez was sponsored by former Assemblyman, Atty. Augusto G. Ortiz,
also a Buluseño.
