Background
Damayan-Buluseño
Gazette is being published by Damayan-Buluseño, Inc.
-- a non-stock, non-profit association of Metro-Manila
residents from Bulusan, Sorsogon.
It
was launched in 1983 as Damayan-Buluseño Newsletter.
Later, it became Damayan-Buluseño Gazette, with the same
amount of character and value.
Its
publication was stopped some time in 1998 and resumed in May
of 2002. It is being released on a bi-monthly basis
and is being distributed in Bulusan, Sorsogon and among
Buluseños in Metro-Manila, in other areas of the country,
and abroad.
The
year 2005 saw no publication for the Gazette due to various
factors. A comeback issue for June - September 2006 was
again launched in October 2006.
Copies
are also being sent to the various schools, churches, and
the provincial and municipal government offices in the
entire Province of Sorsogon.
